DESCRIPTION:

Hand turned in my Chester County workshop, this handcrafted table lamp is made from locally sourced Pennsylvania hardwood in black walnut or oak. Standing at 21″ tall overall, hardwood base is 12” tall with a slender organic curvy post and 5.5” wide flange base. Sold individually, lamp is available in multiple quantities if pairing for bed or nightstand tables, or if you wish to match a pair for your office or living space. Lamps are identical in dimension, sanded smooth and finished with multiple coats of durable flat urethane. Cork padding is applied to bottom of base to protect surfaces.

These natural hardwood bases are paired with your choice of white or natural linen tapered (empire) lamp shades. Like my lamp bases, shades are completely constructed in my workshop. Quality fabrication and materials are used, including welded wire armatures with a top mount spider fitting, styrene backing and premium fabrics. An option is available to purchase lamp without shade if you wish to pair with your own.

All electrical parts are UL listed; fitted with a turn knob E26 medium socket (uses standard medium bulb, not included) nickel harp and 8’ black cord. Versatile modern style will fit well in many decor styles. Your new lamps will ship for free in a well packaged box (bases and shades shipped separately).

MY PROCESS:

Heirloom Workshop LLC is located in Chester County, PA and I offer handmade lighting and home accessory designs constructed in a variety of quality hardwoods, all responsibly and locally sourced in southeastern PA. My mission is to provide small volume, high quality, well designed, functional products for your home or as a special gift.

At Heirloom Workshop LLC my approach to constructing products offers my customers a special opportunity to own a high quality handmade product not available in most retail stores. I am fortunate to be surrounded by hardwood forests. Thus, all of my products are made from the actual hardwood stated in the description. I do not use low quality woods and stains that is common by traditional retail and many of my competitors. I design and fabrication all of my products for sale, performing all activities in-house transforming responsibly felled local Pennsylvania trees into finish products. I care about our environment and want to make the most of a resource available to me so I avoid falling healthy hardwoods. All of my logs are obtained from storm damage fallen trees and seasoned for a number of years prior to being milled by my equipment. Once milled, lumber is air dried for at least a year and then kiln dried to achieve a final moisture content suitable for fine woodworking.
